Makes a single portion

30ml gin – a quality London dry gin is ideal

15ml Lillet Blanc – an aromatic French aperitif wine

15ml sake – a light, medium-bodied one, ideally

Pour the gin, Lillet Blanc, and sake into a shaker, toss in plenty of ice cubes and stir thoroughly for 30 seconds to cool. Filter into a pre-chilled martini glass and present.
