On Monday, the tribunal was told communication data and data retrieved from phones documented Ms Wandelt repeatedly asking Madeleine's mother for a DNA test during the past two years.

Madeleine's vanishing in 2007 - when she was three years old during a trip in Portugal - is one of the most widely reported child disappearance cases and remains unresolved.

Another voicemail, presented in court, captured Ms Wandelt saying: "I realize I'm overweight and unattractive like Madeleine was, but I know what I believe."

While a separate message of Ms Wandelt's one-way conversations with Mrs McCann's answerphone expressed: "What if there is a tiny probability that I am she? Then what? Isn't that crucial for you?"

"I am not seeking money, I have a existence here in Poland, I just want to discover," the recording stated.

The tribunal was advised that by means of electronic messages, SMS messages and communications, Ms Wandelt asked for a genetic test, forwarded youth pictures to her phone in a effort to demonstrate a likeness to Mrs McCann's disappeared daughter, and claimed to have "flashbacks" from a childhood with the McCanns.

Robert Jones, an investigator with Leicestershire Police who gathered the data, told the court there "seemed to lack any replies" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt furthermore contacted acquaintances of the McCanns, based on the phone records.

On October 9th, 2024, the father answered a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, stating she had "incorrect contact information."

That day Ms Wandelt left a voicemail on Mrs McCann's voicemail stating "I will persist and I intend to demonstrate my claim."
